HISTORY OF KRAV MAGA

Krav Maga ("contact combat") is a self-defense system developed for the military in Israeli. It consists of a wide combination of techniques sourced from Boxing, Combat Sambo, Karate, Muay Thai, Wing Chun, Judo, Jujutsu, Wrestling, Aikido and Grappling, along with realistic fight training. Krav Maga is known for its focus on real-world situations and extremely efficient and brutal counter-attacks.

It was derived from street-fighting skills developed by Hungarian-Israeli martial artist Imi Lichtenfeld, who made

use of his training as a boxer and wrestler as a means of defending the Jewish quarter against fascist groups in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia in the mid-to-late 1930s. In the

late 1940s, following his immigration to Israel, he began to provide lessons on combat training to what was to become

the IDF, who went on to develop the system that became known as Krav Maga. It has since been refined for civilian, police and applications, as well as Military applications.

COMBAT FITNESS

HERE'S A GREAT QUESTION:

What's the difference between the COMBAT FITNESS component of the Power Krav Maga program

and other types of fitness programs?

ANSWER:

All legitimate fitness programs will help you to lose weight and tone up. Fitness programs are a dime-a-dozen.

But the COMBAT FITNESS component of Power Krav Maga gives you 3 THINGS that other fitness programs don't.

1) PREPARES YOUR BODY FOR ACTUAL STREET COMBAT!

In COMBAT FITNESS, your muscular development is based on the shapes and types of movements encountered in real fights,

so your body will become well prepared for this type of explosive movement under stress. You'll also do neurological exercises

to train your brian to respond properly under the

GREAT FEAR & CONFUSION of an actual attack.

With COMBAT FITNESS you will lose weight, and your body will get toned. Best of all, your hard work is done in the context of learning how to deal with VIOLENT CRIMINAL ATTACKS.

SO COMBAT FITNESS GIVES YOU A DOUBLE BENEFIT THAT OTHER PROGRAMS DON'T!

For these reasons, we have become the "go to" program for training law enforcement professionals who deal with dangerous criminals on a daily basis, and for civilians that are concerned for

their SAFETY, as well as their level of fitness.

To be clear, we do not train body builders, or MMA cage fighters.

And people who want to spend their spare time looking in the mirror and taking selfies probably wouldn't get what they desire here.

IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT PROTECTING YOURSELF & GETTING IN GREAT SHAPE, COMBAT FITNESS IS FOR YOU!

2) MOTIVATION!

Going to a gym is not very motivating.

It's boring and that's why most people quit.

Finding a good personal trainer is better than a gym,

but it's too expensive for most people.

COMBAT FITNESS keeps you motivated

because it's FUN and you are always learning new and

interesting things that COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE ONE DAY!

AND WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE MORE MOTIVATING THAN SAVING YOUR LIFE OR THE LIFE OF A LOVED ONE?

3) TESTING YOUR

COMBAT ABILITY

You'll constantly be

testing your ever

increasing level

of combat oriented

fitness by being

placed in different

real life scenarios

that require different

components

of fitness (strength,

speed , explosive

power and flexibility).

You'll feel your actual combat ability improving!
